Meet staff from UK universities and colleges

UK universities and colleges recognise that taking the decision to leave your home and travel abroad to study is a momentous decision. Some feel that it is important for international students to meet staff from their institution face to face. It helps you to get specific information that you may not be able to get from websites and prospectuses. At British Council we take an important role in helping you connect with the visiting UK institutions.

Education UK Exhibition
Once a year we run an Education UK Exhibition where several UK universities and colleges are represented by their UK based staff. It gives you the chance to find out, first hand, about many different institutions and the courses they offer.

Each year, the thousands of Bangladesh students wanting to study in the UK are faced with a mountain of choices that include exciting degree courses, culturally rich towns and cities and some of the most famous and accomplished schools and universities in the world. The EducationUK exhibition helps negotiate these bewildering options through a comprehensive showcase of educational opportunities available in the UK.

Visits by individual institutions
Throughout the year we also arrange for representatives from the colleges and universities to meet individual students, deliver seminars to students on their particular institution and conduct interviews with prospective students. It is an ideal opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the institution, the courses it offers and its location.
