I know what subject area I want to study, but how can I find out which university or college offers courses in my chosen area?
There are some good websites for you to browse - for example, UCAS and Hotcourses are websites that can help you to search and apply for courses in the UK. Prospects provides details of postgraduate research and study opportunities in the UK. Alternatively, why not come and see our advisors in our education office who can help you find the information you’re looking for.

How do I know whether my qualifications will be accepted for entry by a UK university or college?
You can check here how Bangladesh qualifications compare with those accepted by the UK. If you need any further advice, contact us or come and see one of our education advisors.

How can I get funding to study in the UK?
You can browse our scholarship pages for more information, or consult the Education UK website. Alternatively come into one of our offices and see our education advisors who will be pleased to assist you. We have a list of scholarships which may suit your needs.Our information centre has the latest news on institutional scholarships.

How can you help me get prospectuses from UK universities or colleges?
You can get a lot of information from individual university or college websites. A list of university and college websites can be found on the Higher Education and Research Opportunities (Hero) website. Alternatively, we hold an extensive range of prospectuses, videos, course leaflets and general guides at our offices in Dhaka and Chittagong.

How can I get more information about how much it will cost to study in the UK?
Both the Education UK and UK Council for International Student Affairs websites can give you advice about costs of living and studying in the UK. We can also advise you and our staff will be happy to help with information.

How can I find out more about what life is like for a student in the UK?
We hold Pre-departure briefings where you can get a wealth of information about the UK. UK Council for International Student Affairs website also has a number of really useful guidance notes which will answer many of your questions.
