The British Council is a leading administrator for the UK university and college examinations. To take advantage of this opportunity, you will need to register with the institutions in the UK and we will then arrange for your examinations to be set at our centre in Sarajevo.

The Open University

Open University The Open University is the UK's largest university, with over 200,000 students and customers. Its courses are considered to be among the world's best distance education materials and are regularly awarded for their innovation.

University of London External Programme

London External The University of London is one of the oldest, largest and most diverse universities in the UK. The range and breadth of activity within the University provides it with a unique character and high level of distinction.

Heriot-Watt University

Heriot Watt Heriot-Watt University's flexible programmes make it possible to combine study with work and family life, by giving you more freedom of time and place. Courses are available at a number of levels and across a range of disciplines.

London School of Economics and Political Science

LSEPS Since 1994, LSE has worked in partnership with the University of London External Programme to offer undergraduate degrees in economics, management finance and the social sciences to students worldwide. These programmes are developed and assessed by LSE academics. Today, more than 10,000 students are enrolled on the programme.

University of Durham Business School

Durham Durham Business School is part of the University of Durham, England's third oldest university. The University founded a business school in 1965 and has one of the longest established business schools in the UK.

The College of Estate Management

CEM The College of Estate Management is the leading international body providing distance learning education and training to the property professions and construction industry.  Students from over 70 countries are currently registered on courses there.

University of Warwick

University of Warwick The University of Warwick is consistently ranked in the Top Ten UK Universities. Warwick Arts Centre is the largest performance and visual arts complex of its kind in the UK outside London.

University of Wolverhampton

Wolwerhampton The University of Wolverhampton is a dynamic, supportive university at the heart of England with four campuses covering the West Midlands and Shropshire. Its courses range from the traditional subjects you would expect at any good university, to the ultra-modern such as Virtual Reality Design, Digital Product Modelling and E-Commerce and even an online degree in Business Administration.

University of Portsmouth

Portsmouth The University of Portsmouth was inaugurated in 1992.  The former Portsmouth Polytechnic, one of the largest and most successful in the UK, itself grew from the Portsmouth and Gosport School of Science and Arts, founded in 1869.

University of Birmingham

Birmingham The University was founded in 1900 by the citizens of Birmingham who wanted their own university to train and educate the people who would create and manage the burgeoning businesses and industries of the midlands. Today, it is one of the five most successful universities in the UK for research excellence.

REGISTRATION
All students need to register with the institutions in the UK directly requesting their examinations are administered by the British Council Bosnia and Herzegovina. The institution will then contact the British Council on your behalf and will provide the necessary examinations materials.
WHAT WE DO

We provide the following examination services for professional examinations:

Receipt and secure storage of examination papers
Collection and forwarding of exam board fees (if required)
Notification of examination venue/times to candidates and fees payable
Provision of examination venue
Invigilation and supervision
Pre and post examination administration according to the exam board’s regulations
Despatch of examination papers to the exam boards
Notification of results to candidates (if required)
PAYMENT

The British Council charges a fee of 150.00KM for administration of your examination. In addition, depending on the arrangement with your course provider, you may be required to pay the courier costs incurred at return of exams materials.

In order to be able to sit examinations with us you will need to produce a proof of payment of any fees related to your examinations administration.

Currently, the only method of payment available in BiH is via bank transfer or postal order. The following are sample payment forms:

REFUNDS

Candidates who seek to cancel their registration will receive refund only if they can demonstrate to the administrator that their ability to sit the test has been affected by illness or serious cause. In those instances only courier charges will apply.

Serious causes include:
Serious illness – e.g. hospital admission or serious injury (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold)
Loss or bereavement death of a close family member
Hardship / trauma (victim of crime, victim of traffic accident)
Military service

Evidence of illness or serious cause must be provided within 5 days of the test date.
