This test is designed to assess the English language ability of people who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.
It is recognised widely as an English language requirement for courses in further and higher education, and is also used for immigration purposes.
The test has two modules: Academic and General Training. Before registering check which one you need. All candidates are tested in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
We schedule test once a month, at our office. Exact dates can be found at Registration and Fees link. Test Report Forms are issued two weeks after the date of the exam. You can also check your IELTS results on-line.
As a general rule it is recommended that a Test Report Form that is more than two years old should only be accepted as evidence of present level of ability if accompanied by proof that a candidate has actively maintained or tried to improve their English language proficiency.
