Anar Ahmadov

Political scientist by training and pacifist by nature Anar Ahmadov is heading the Institute of Politics at Khazar University where he instructs young warrior students on how to avoid wars just by building and operating a proper government. Anar received graduate training in Public Policy at Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh in the United States, where he also spent some time delighting several think tanks in Washington, DC in the research associate capacity. In Azerbaijan, he did graduate studies in Political Science at the Academy of Public Administration in Azerbaijan, as well as worked, in reverse chronological order, as a project director, journalist, and researcher.

Matt Milliken
Nothern Ireland

Grew up in Belfast at the height of ‘the Troubles’ and has been involved in youth work for more than half of his 41 years. At the earliest opportunity he escaped the conflict and spent time living and (youth) working in London, the Republic of Ireland and finally Germany - where he claims to have brought down the Berlin Wall and, single-handedly, resolved the Cold War. Emboldened by this success, he returned home in 1990 to sort out the Irish problem – a task which still occupies much of his attention. Matt is the proud father of Oliver, Cait and Myles and, on the few occasions when he isn’t working, can be heard guldering on the terraces of Ravenhill, indoctrinating them with his passion for Ulster rugby.
