British Council Austria
Our projects

In Austria and Europe, our mission is creating partnerships and networks as part of a vision of working together to build next generation Europe. We seek to do this across a range of areas which represent culture in the broadest sense.
Together with colleagues in Europe we work on large-scale projects that involve partners in many countries and the UK. We are currently involved in the following projects:

FameLab Austria 2012

FameLab is an international talent competition to find the best new talent in science communication. FameLab contestants have just a few minutes to present a scientific idea to a panel of expert judges in an engaging way. Read on

Language Rich Europe

Through fresh research, a pioneering new tool – the Language Rich Europe Index – and a network of partners, this project seeks to capture the attention of leaders in government, business and society across Europe to:be published in printed form and through an interactive website. Read more
