I would like to study in the UK for a year. Is there any funding available?

For an overview on funding please consult the Funding your studies page of this website.

The Austrian Academic Exchange Service (ÖAD) has a scholarships database. Have a look at their website for more information: www.grants.at.

Another way of getting funded is to go abroad via the Socrates/Erasmus programme, which is usually organised by the international office of your Austrian university. Not only do you receive funding but you can also be sure that your year abroad will be recognised by your home university. To find out more please either contact the international office at your university or the Austrian Erasmus office.
