Can I do the IELTS test at the British Council?
Yes, we offer IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, which provides an assessment of whether candidates are ready to study or work in the medium of English. Universities, companies and even governments primarily demand this qualification. Find out more.
Does the British Council offer the Cambridge ESOL exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, ILEC)?

Yes, since the British Council in Vienna is a registered Open Centre for Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) exams.

Anyone whose mother tongue is not English may enter any of the examinations offered by the Centre at any level, provided the correct registration procedures are followed. Find out more about our exams service.
