A head start in the IELTS test

Do you need to take the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) for your application to a university or college? Our workshop helps you reach the necessary grade.

An experienced British Council trainer helps you prepare for the Academic module of the IELTS test. In six hours you will be familiarised with examination techniques which point you towards success.

How to Register

Simply fill out the online registration form and pay in the participation fee by no later than 25 April 2008 (May workshop), 20 June 2008 (July workshop), 5 September 2008 (September workshop), 31 October 2008 (November workshop), 20 February 2009 (March 2009 workshop).

Included in the price is a free copy of Vanessa Jakeman’s IELTS Practice Tests. Please bring your workshop fee payment slip with you. Since the number of participants is limited, please note that places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The IELTS workshop is not a language course, but aims to familiarise participants with the examination techniques required of IELTS test candidates. If your language level is below intermediate, we recommend that you take a general English language course before sitting the IELTS test.
