ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages
Key English Test (KET):
An elementary exam which tests basic skills in English communication - the first level in the five-level Cambridge ESOL Main Suite examinations.

Preliminary English Test (PET)

Tests the language skills necessary to cope with everyday written and spoken communications.

First Certificate in English (FCE)
An examination at intermediate level.
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
An examination at advanced level.
Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
The final level of the Cambridge ESOL Mainsuite exams, testing a very high level of competence.
Business English Certificates (BEC)
Examinations designed to test English language ability used in the context of business (three levels).
Cambridge Young Learners English Tests (YLE)
Tests designed for children aged between 7 and 12, at three levels (Starters, Movers and Flyers).
International Legal English Certificate (ILEC)
