Henry Moore at the Kremlin Museums

The exhibition 'Henry Moore and the classic canon of modern sculpture' opened at the Kremlin Museums on 21 February 2012..

For the Moscow exhibition, Moore's best works were selected. They show a wide range of images and themes which excited the artist throughout his life, demonstrate his rich imagination, his innovative, creative thinking and the evolution of his artistic ideas. Among the art works on display is the 'Madonna and Child' sculpture installed in a church in Northampton, which is also one of the artist's own favourites.

Art works are loaned by the Henry Moore Foundation, the British Council, Tate and UK private collections.
