- Visas, registration, work permits and carnets are not normally required.
- For health purposes, It is advisable to obtain an E111 (or E128) certificate as it entitles you to state emergency treatment in all European Community countries, though you may still have to pay some charges. It is not a substitute for medical travel insurance which gives far wider cover.
