Visas
All visitors to the Rebublic of Yemen require a visa except nationals of Egypt, Iran and Jordan. You may obtain entry visas to Yemen from your nearest Yemeni Embassy or Consulate with Jurisdiction over the your place of residence. Visiting artists can obtain a single entry tourist or visitor visa for up to two months validity from the date of issuing.

Entry clearance
Yemeni entry guidelines are subject to several regulations and procedures that change periodically depending on the economic situation and security of the country. See the Embassy website for more information.

Work permits/Residence permits
If you wish to work in Yemen you must apply for and be granted a work permit prior to commencing work. Once the work permit is granted, then you are eligible to obtain a residence permit from the immigration Department. Work permits are issued in one-year increments renewed annually for concurrent periods.
