Visas
All visitors entering Syria must obtain a visa, available at Syrian consulates outside the country. If there is any evidence in your passport that you have visited Israel, you will not be issued with a visa. If the duration of your visit is two weeks or more it will be necessary to register at the local police station.
Tax
For non-Syrians there is an airport departure tax of SP200.
Insurance
You are strongly recommended to take out insurance to cover personal affects and medical expenses.
Forms
Upon arrival at Damascus International Airport, an entry card must be completed and handed to the Immigration Officer. The card will be stamped and returned. This should be retained and given to the Immigration Officer upon departure. |
