Work Permits
As a visitor, you can stay in Slovenia for 90 days in 6 months, otherwise permission must be obtained before entering Slovenia at the Slovene Embassy in London. This permit is granted for one year only.

Tax
In order to work in Slovenia, you need a UK tax number and a Slovene tax number. The latter can be obtained at a local Tax Office or the employer can obtain it for the you with a valid passport and Work Agreement which they must provide. The payment is made by the Artist's Agency of Slovenia.

Carnets
British guests either need ATA Carnet for their equipment, which is a list made by artists or their agents and is available from the Ministry for the Economy in the country of origin, or Temporary Import-Export Permission, which the carrier makes in each country both ways, so 4 times (this takes more time and is costly, but it works). For this, you need a Proforma Invoice, stating the value of items, a list of items and the weight of each trunk or package.
