Work Permits
In the absence of a bilateral cultural agreement between the UK and the Philippines, a British artist travelling to perform or work in the Philippines even under the aegis of the British Council or the British Embassy should secure a Temporary Visitor's Visa from the Philippine Embassy, following initial paperwork with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila. Once this has been secured, it must be sent with a request letter from you host organisation or venue to the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation. If you are a musician or singer you will also need to secure endorsements from the Asosasyon ng Musikong Pilipino and Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-aawit (musicians and singers equity guilds) and submit these to the BID.

Visas
As a UK national, you are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding twenty-one days, provided you hold a valid return ticket and your passport is valid for at least six months. Holders of British National Overseas (BNO) passports are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding seven days.

You will require an entry visa to the Philippines if you are one of the following: a holder of a Taiwanese passport, a holder of Documents of Identity (DI), Certificates of Identity (CI) or Travel Documents ('Titre de Voyage'); a stateless person.
