Visas
Apply to the Kazakh Embassy's Visa section for more information. To travel to Kazakhstan you should obtain a Kazakh visa. To do this, you need to have:

• a valid passport
• copies of the invitation-letter, quoting number of the Department of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• a completed visa application form
• a passport-size photo

The passport's validity should expire not earlier than six months after the termination of validity of visa requested.

Work permits
To receive the “for work” visa, apart from the required documents, it is necessary to have sanction to engage foreign labour and the contract which has been made with the employer.

Forms
HIV Certificate
If you plan to stay for more than 10 days you are required to have passed an HIV test.
Registration
Within 3 working days after arrival in Kazakhstan it is obligatory to obtain registration from the local authorities.
