Working in Cyprus
It should be noted that it is difficult, if not impossible, for a group of performers to come to Cyprus for performances without a local partner being involved.

Work Permits
No work permit is necessary, unless the visitor is staying for over a month.

Visas
No visa is necessary, if your stay is less than three months long. Please see the Embassy website for more information.

Tax
There is no income tax if fees are paid abroad or in foreign currency. Otherwise, they will be taxed at the current rates. The minimum untaxable income is C£9,000. Current Municipal Performance Tax will be paid on venue entrance tickets.

Carnets
Carnet is optional, otherwise any freight: technical equipment/props/paintings can enter under a Temporary Importation Licence. This means that anything imported will have to be exported. No sales.
