Visas
Since the UK is not a member of Schengen, British subjects can only enter Bulgaria without visas if their stay is for not more than 30 days. Extending your stay should be done through the Passport office for Foreigners at the Ministry of Interior by the relevant organisation which has invited you.

Insurance
All visitors to Bulgaria need to have medical insurance, covering them during the entire length of their stay.
Carnets
Exhibitions and any other cargoe should travel to Bulgaria by road equipped with ATA Carnets or TIR Carnets - this is due to the fact that Bulgaria is not a member of the European Union. |
