REVIEW EXTRACTS 'Miriam Buether’s sets wonderfully lit by Chahine Yavroyan, are startling and stultifying by turn – there are images here that will live long in the mind – as will Neilson’s inventively illustrated contention that it’s a mad mad world.' The Metro
'Brilliant, quietly-unsettling impressionistic, exploration of sanity, madness and the family, produced by EIF with Glasgow’s Tron Theatre.' The Herald
'In what has been an unusually strong year for drama at the Edinburgh International Festival, the play, and his own production of it, commissioned by the Festival in conjunction with the Drum Theatre Plymouth, and produced by the Tron Theatre company in Glasgow, stands comparison with the very best.' The Times
CURRENT PRODUCTIONS The Wonderful World of Dissocia Written and directed by Anthony Neilson. Dissocia is a place Lisa visits sometimes. Nobody wants her to go there but she doesn’t understand why. Yes, like anywhere it has its dangers – it can be a dark and mysterious place – but mostly it’s colourful and funny and exciting; and populated by some of the most eccentric people you’re ever likely to meet. But the people she loves made her promise not to go there and she’s kept that promise. Until now. Now she has no choice but to return. The future of Dissocia depends on it. Her life depends on it. As she is soon to learn, the two are not as separate as she thought.
TOURING AVAILABILITY Summer 2007.
