ARTISTIC POLICY
Third Angel makes original, inventive and entertaining devised performance, live art, installation and film. The company is interested in the small things in life, the value of individual experience and the beauty found in the everyday. Third Angel’s work challenges boundaries between genres, reality and fiction, performer and audience.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Presumption Theatre piece about having to deal with fading love and dreams, during which the set is built from scratch by the performers. (80 mins, 2 on stage, 4 on the road, strong language)

The Lad Lit Project Solo performance charting men’s experience of life, love and loyalty, using ingenious projection and an intimate, conversational performance style. (75 mins, 1 on stage, 2 on the road, strong language)

Where have they Hidden All the Answers? Performance installation for a solo audience member, framed as a research project; remade in each venue in host country’s language. (10 mins, up to 5 performances per hour for up to 6 hours per day, 2 performers, 1–3 on the road)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
9 Billion Miles From Home A performance exploring our relationship with space, time, light and scale, in relation to the Voyager satellites.

Parts for Machines that Do Things A theatre piece about aircraft maintenance.

WRAP-AROUND ACTIVITY
Workshops and residencies (from 3 hours to 9 weeks) appropriate for performance students or young/emerging practitioners. Participatory work with communities.
