ARTISTIC POLICY
The Special Guests create generous and playful live performances for theatre spaces, galleries and beyond. The company has been entertaining and unsettling audiences since forming in Bristol in 2002. Working collaboratively and democratically, it is drawn to themes of love, displacement, family ties and failure.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
This Much I Know (Part Two) Using specially doctored telephones by sound artist Tom Bugs, The Special Guests while away the hours making calls to each other, to the audience and to the outside world. (Durational, 240–360 mins, 4 on the road)

Peace and Quiet Dressed in grey caretakers coats, The Special Guests roams the streets offering passers-by Peace (a moment of calm reflection) or Quiet (total silence amidst the daily grind). (Flexible walkabout piece, 120 mins upwards, 3 on the road)

I Fall Into Day as They Fall Into Night (working title) A new site-specific performance for city spaces, premiering in Summer 2007 and available for touring from Autumn 2007.
