REVIEW EXTRACTS 'If this is the way forward for dance performance in the 21st century, then bring it on, we’re ready.' Independent on Sunday (In Plain Clothes)
'The dancers' impeccable technique, and their lean, scrubbed looks were matched by their ability to infuse the movement with their particular personalities, and to bring a certain heat and humanity to Davies' poetic geometry.' Chicago Sunday Times (In Plain Clothes)
'A thrilling and quietly virtuosic display of movement, crammed with ideas… and an overall organisation of commanding power.' Financial Times (Bird Song)
CURRENT PRODUCTION Two Quartets (working title) Siobhan Davies works with two quartets of dancers, making a distinctive piece with each group presented as a double bill. Two Quartets will be underpinned by a process of artistic enquiry and investigation, which characterises all of Siobhan Davies Dance’s work.
WRAP-AROUND ACTIVITY Siobhan Davies Dance has pioneered an extensive residency and outreach programme, which works to include professional dancers and dance students, other arts organisations, secondary schools, further education institutions and the wider community. Each programme is tailor-made to complement the company’s work, often using recent work from the company’s repertory as a starting point.
