ARTISTIC POLICY Welsh choreographer Sean Tuan John creates movement-based performance work that explores contemporary urban culture and experience through idiosyncratic dance, evocative video and excessive ‘acting’. Special interests include solo work, site-specific performances and collaborative work. Sean Tuan John has a strong history of European co-productions and collaborations, in particular co-ordinating with Flemish choreographer Bert van Gorp to create work for stage and television.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Kill the Clowns A demented and delirious dance trio following three gloriously deluded comedians through their ‘showbiz’ purgatory. (60 mins, 3 on stage 4 on the road)
FUTURE PRODUCTIONS Brut 45 Poignant and pathos-filled solo about a senile medallion man.(15 mins, 1 on stage, 2 on the road, part of a programme of six short solos)
The Magic Doors A visually dynamic and highly energetic dance show for five- to seven-year-olds based on the idea of entering and exiting different worlds. (40 mins, 2 on stage, 3 on the road, with accompanying workshops)
WRAP-AROUND ACTIVITY Creative educational situations with children and adults, focussing particularly on the fusion of professional and participatory approaches to create new presentation and working methods.
