Domestic Matters Tells the amazing story of Anthony Trollope’s mother Fanny, who outraged America with her book Domestic Manners of the Americans and the extraordinary circumstances leading to her departure to America and the fallout she faced on her return. Set in a wax work museum, one of Fanny’s failed business ventures, Domestic Matters is a darkly humours piece that sees Fanny summoning up her life’s memories in an effort to defend her reputation for posterity.
