ARTISTIC POLICY Punchdrunk saturates locations with theatrical puzzles and arousing atmospheres drawn from classic texts and in sympathy with sites. The company’s productions encourage the viewer to re-encounter the childlike anticipation and excitement of exploring the unfamiliar, to experience profound sensations of adventure and discovery. To intensify the intimacy of the experience, the viewer wears a mask, each individual member of the audience being invited to make a personal journey into the unknown.
