ARTISTIC POLICY One of the UK’s foremost poets, Lemn Sissay has published five books over the past 16 years, including two collections of verse. He has edited an anthology of contemporary black writing and undertaken numerous performance poetry tours.

Lemn Sissay spent the first seventeen years of his life in care and his entire adult life searching for his family. The search revealed the secrets and lies of an incredible past. Like all compelling stories, it is one that must be told and one that must be heard. Produced and commissioned by Apples & Snakes and Contact in association with BAC.
