CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Waylaid Ancient myth and modern transport collide in a place not found on any map! A woman awakes to find herself in a vast white desert. The only evidence of how she came to be here is a wrecked car. As she begins to piece together her recollections, grotesque figures from childhood stories invade the landscape, intent on preventing her escape. Wearing headphones that place the woman’s thoughts directly inside your head, you enter a very private world of subtle surprises, changing expectations and unpredictable outcomes. (70 mins, 7 on the road, for audience of 100, 2 or 3 shows per day, available in different languages, indoor theatre show touring in its own venue, virtually self-contained, includes lighting and sound)
Eye Witness Video installation for galleries, unusual spaces or festivals. Witness some alarming scenes of darkly humorous yet ill-fated adventures, where people in mortal danger are projected onto the walls, floors and ceilings around you. (3 people to install)
FUTURE PRODUCTION Waylaid A development of the current show extends the audience capacity with more chance meetings, unexpected hold ups and creative queue-jumpers. (75 mins, 8 on the road, audience of 150, 3 times per day)
WRAP-AROUND ACTIVITY Training in devising and artistic development and project management plus audio visual lectures on making of shows. Professional development opportunities for emerging artists.
TOURING AVAILABILITY Waylaid from May 2007. Eye Witness from January 2007. Details on request.
