ARTISTIC POLICY
Hoodwink combines indoor and outdoor touring in the UK and abroad with site specific and participatory performance. The company has built a reputation for its unique combination of striking visual images, unexpected animation of set and props, and a distinctive comedy. Hoodwink stretches audience expectations of what theatre can be, where it can take place, and what the audience’s role might be. All outdoor shows are non-verbal and suitable for international audiences.

Pleasure Garden An intimate performance set in a formal garden. Bees, blossom, extravagant characters and elegant comedy. (15-minute performance repeated, 4 cast & crew, includes costumed nudity)

Tock Tick The cuckoo won’t call! Illusion, levitation, origami, serenades. Performed on an animated 7m high clocktower. (35 mins, 3 cast & crew)

Gastronomic An elaborate theatrical fest. A succession of unpredictable courses: exploding crab, motorised puddings, flies in the soup. (35 mins performance, 3 cast & crew)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
Flood An installation exploring the imagined journey of a drop of water. (small, brief interactive visits from audience,2 cast and crew)
