ARTISTIC POLICY
Headlong Theatre (previously known as Oxford Stage Company) is dedicated to new ways of making theatre. By exploring revolutionary writers and practitioners of the past and commissioning new work from artists from a wide variety of backgrounds, the company aims  to push the imaginative boundaries of the stage. Headlong makes exhilarating, provocative and spectacular new work to take around the country and around the world.

Rough Crossings The world premiere of Simon Schama’s brilliantly provocative account of the abolition of the slave trade, adapted by award-winning playwright and novelist Caryl Phillips. (150 mins, 20 on the road)

The Last Days of Judas Iscariot The most infamous betrayal in history is hilariously dissected in the European premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ audacious black comedy. (150 mins, 15 on the road)
