Franko B’s performance work deals with the vulnerability of the human body and the beauty that is bound up with its inner frailty.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Don’t Leave Me This Way This piece is presented in two different formats: one in which Franko B is seated on a raised plinth or altar in front of a mass audience and another in a one-to-one encounter where the audience is allowed time to approach his body as a sculptural form. A bank of bright lights will flood the viewers to the point of averting their gaze. Carefully choreographed, this blinding technique will mimic the effect that his bleeding body has on audience members. (3–4 on the road, contains nudity)

Aktion 893/why are you here? Four or five people are booked per hour, over an eight-hour period, and placed in a waiting room, each receiving a number. Once their number is called, the participant enters a small sound-proofed room and removes their clothes. Franko B enters the room fully clothed and they engage in an improvised encounter. (8 hours, 3–4 on the road, contains nudity)
