ARTISTIC POLICY
Leslie Hill and Helen Paris are known for their edgy, humorous interrogations of contemporary culture and politics, work that has been called ‘as smart as it is seductive’ (Irish Times). Their work embraces live performance, digital media, installation, publication and film. As Curious, they have produced over thirty innovative works as well as collaborations with national and international artists.

CURRENT PRODUCTION
On the Scent Explores the elusive connections between smell and memory. The performance takes place in a home through which audience members are invited on intimate and aromatic journeys. Three distinctly different performances exude their own haunting, darkly humorous and seductive essences throughout the house. (40 mins, Leslie Hill and Helen Paris are joined by Lois Weaver, 4 on the road)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
(be)longing Leslie Hill and Helen Paris share personal stories of longing and belonging against two contrasting backdrops.  Exterior shot: the searing landscape of the desert, the seemingly limitless curve of sky and vast plateaux mirroring the infinite unfulfilled nature of longing.   Interior shot:  a landscape you can hold in the palm of your hand - discreet, hidden, private. The 10oz site of longing itself, the heart. (60 mins, 3 on the road)
