ARTISTIC POLICY
Spanish-born Bonachela describes himself as a 'movement junkie' and the exploration and experimentation of pure movement is his motivation. In addition to his own movement vocabulary, he finds inspiration in the visual arts and popular culture, which gives his work a distinctive style. A choreographer committed to innovation, he is one of the most intriguing and inventive choreographers working in Britain today, moving seamlessly between the mainstream and avant garde dance worlds.

Ahotsak Sextet performed to Luciano Berio's Naturale for viola, percussion and solo voice. (25 mins approx., available with live music or in recorded version, performed as a double bill with Set Boundaries entitled Voices)

E2 7SD The Place Prize award-winning duet conceived as a performance and sound sculpture of an emotionally charged landscape. Sound sculpture by Oswaldo Macia. (12 mins, 2 on stage, 4 on the road)
