ARTISTIC POLICY To bring visual excitement and wonder into the everyday environment with very accessible ephemeral architecture wherein the visitor encounters the beauty of light and colour. In collaboration with the promoter Architects of Air aims to create the ideal conditions for the visitor to inhabit these extraordinary spaces.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Levity II (1000 m2) Dodecahedral domes, a luminous tree and a beautiful colonnaded centre chamber
Amozozo (800 m2) Inspired by the Iranian bazaar – disorientating passages and mosque-like domes.
Ixilum (1200 m2) The biggest luminarium so far. It has a beautiful cupola based an Islamic muqarnas-style ceiling.
Triaxial (250 m2) Built in 2004 for indoor exhibition as part of Lille, European Capital of Culture.
FUTURE PRODUCTION Orophoro (1000m2) from May 2007.
WRAP-AROUND ACTIVITY The luminaria can also be exploited to host concerts, sponsors functions, dance performances, press conferences, workshops, lectures, sessions for people with disabilities.
