ARTISTIC POLICY The World Famous creates shows blending pyrotechnics with performance, large images, music, projection, procession, and community involvement. The aim is to combine the intimate with the spectacular, form with content, fireworks with theatre.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Full Circle Uses live music by Slovenian musicians, Terrafolk; with fire, fireworks and special effects telling a story of change via a journey through the seasons. For up to 8000 people. The performance is 45 minutes and 16 crew and 4 cast are involved. Crackers? A celebration of the explosive, dangerous beauty of fire and fireworks and an exploration of our attitudes to Risk. For up to 12,000 people and performed 'in the round'. The performance is 45 minutes with 19 crew, 4 professional and up to 26 local volunteer performers. Blast! Traces the journey of one man from dream to reality as his determined efforts to fly take him beyond imagination. Collaborating with surreal pranksters Peepolykus - a mischievous pyrotechnic performance. The performance is for 40 minutes and 7 crew and 3 cast are involved.
FUTURE PRODUCTIONS Catharsis Builds on the great English tradition of sculptural bonfires. Creating large site specific bonfire images (8m+) with opportunities for local people to contribute with objects and ideas they would like to burn. Time frames for performance and number of crew vary. Light Up Builds on vast experience in responding to a particular site and animating it with fire and fireworks, whether a natural landscape, built environment or specially designed architectural features. WRAP-AROUND The company have a great deal of skill working with a wide range of people; Church of Fire – our photographic project involves community groups making images using fire and small scale fireworks; Crackers? engages 4 professional performers and 26 volunteer performers, sourced locally, who perform in the show. The World Famous’ Director and associate directors have diverse expertise in responding to site, advising on community/audience engagement and collaborating with different art forms; working as consultants, mentors and advisors.
