ARTISTIC POLICY Quarantine makes theatre both with experienced performers and people who have never performed before. Using their personal histories and experiences, they invent a theatrical form that’s tailored to each piece – from intimate encounters to epic events. Quarantine often makes theatre that blurs, exchanges, or even removes the distinction between spectator and performer.
REVIEW EXTRACTS This production is so creatively original, so technically assured, and so successfully unlike anything in this reviewer's experience that it merits a five-star rating. The Irish Times (Susan & Darren) A unique and delightful form of theatre that sits right on the cutting-edge of debate about what we mean by performance, but is still as unpretentious and accessible as a good community show. The Scotsman (Old people, children and animals) There is no company in the UK working quite in the area of Quarantine, a truly wonderful company that uses the lives and experiences of real people as the starting point for all their shows and who put their subjects centre stage and let them speak for themselves. Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
