ARTISTIC POLICY Pilot Theatre is a national touring theatre company with over 25 years’ experience delivering high-quality theatre work to a target audience of young people. The work aims for inspirational presentation and production values, and is supported by an education programme that encourages aspiration in young people. Pilot Theatre won the award for Best Show for Young People at the 2008 TMA/Stage Awards for Looking for JJ.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS This Child by Joel Pommerat (winner of Critics’ Association Award for Best Play 2006) In this poignant exploration of the most fundamental of human bonds between parent and child, passion, blame and awkwardness are followed by moments of tenderness and understanding. FUTURE PRODUCTIONS The Knife That Killed Me based on the novel by Anthony McGowan Paul is an outsider at school and when inter-school feuds spiral into ever-increasing violence, he finds out the smallest of decisions can lead to tragic consequences. WRAP-AROUND Participatory workshops, post-show talks, education resource packs, extensive web resources including podcasts, discussion forums, blogs, feedback sites, audio and visual clips, Youtube, Facebook and myspace presence etc. We have recently run a workshop programme for teachers and Students in Samara, Russia and another for arts professionals on Arts and New Technologies in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
