ARTISTIC POLICY
Kira O’Reilly’s practice is both wilfully interdisplinary and entirely undisciplined; it employs performance, biotechnical practices, and writing that considers the body as material and site. Recently she has begun to make ‘dances’, with her 41 year old non-dance trained body, attempting to totter at the edge of some kind of capacity and some unnamed ground. She has also been trying to grow muscle cells onto spider silk. She hopes to continue with both activities.
