ARTISTIC POLICY
Kabosh is committed to challenging the notion of what theatre is and where it takes place. The company aims to reinvent the ways in which stories are told, commissioning new writing and devising work for site-specific environments and installation. Kabosh strives to create the best environment for performance as well as cultivating original work in radical partnerships with other arts practitioners. Kabosh animates public spaces and believes in the politics of theatre to transform lives.

Carnival
Performed with live music and circus, set in 2008, Carnival by Lucy Caldwell looks at the world of desperation and danger behind the glamour of Romany circus life.
Running time: 75 minutes (no interval). Performed in a Speigeltent, Cast: 7 actors, 2 musicians, 1 aerial artist  and Crew: 4
Henry & Harriet
Set in 1912, Henry & Harriet by Carlo Gebler tells of an ordinary man whose life changes forever in the course of one hour. A thrilling, tragic love story.
Running time 75 minutes (no interval). Performed in shops. Cast: 6 actors and Crew: 5   
Titanic Quarters by Miche Doherty
4 x 8-minute performances involving eye-witness accounts of the launch, sailing and sinking of the Titanic intercut with music and a tongue-in-cheek view of its legacy.
Running time 4 x 8 minutes – total 32 minutes. Can be performed anywhere. Cast: 3 actors, 1 musician and Crew 2.  
60 Seconds by Patrick Sanders
One-minute, location-specific piece of theatre performed to an individual audience member. Each piece can be performed many times and reinvented to suit the theme of the umbrella festival or conference or event.
Running time 1 minute each – multiple performances. Can be performed anywhere. 1 actor & 1 crew for each piece.

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
The Jewish Memory Project by Gavin Kostick.
Based on oral history and set in 1964, this new play, intercut with music looks at the tragic yet humorous tensions between doing right by the group and doing the best for oneself. It will celebrate the power of the human spirit. The production will be complimented with an exhibition and a companion publication.
Running time approx 2hrs with interval. To be performed in a synagogue. Cast: 8 actors and Crew: 3
