ARTISTIC POLICY
Graeme Miller is a theatre-maker, composer, and artist. Emerging from the bold and influential stage work of Impact Theatre Co-operative in the 1980s, a group he co-founded, his own work now embraces a wide range of media. With the idea of being ‘a composer of many things that may include music’, he has made theatre, dance, installations, and interventions. Always reflecting a sense of landscape and place, he regularly makes site-specific works to commission.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
An exquisite installation…a piece of art that speaks volumes about our time.
The Scotsman (Beheld)
The mundane has been brought it into the dark, where it mysteriously gleams and glitters; an enrapturing experience of the city...
Die Presse, Austria (Bassline: Vienna)
This extraordinary epic is one of London’s hidden glories.
The Wire Magazine (Linked)

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Bassline
Large-scale sound and video site-specific installation that captures the pre-recorded traces of a journey made by a chain of walkers as they pick a random path through the streets of the city. (Mid-scale installation, 3 on the road.)
Beheld
Visitors enter a dark space and encounter ten glass bowls; each contains an image of the sky, and holds recorded sound, mapping sites where stowaways have fallen from aircraft undercarriages while entering Europe and America. A sculptural and sonic installation. (Mid-scale installation, 2 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Graeme Miller is developing new theatre and music theatre work, films, sound projects and installations in 2009-10 and is also available for commissions.
Foley A new theatre piece using filmed footage of crowd scenes and live performances by sound effects artists.
Bassline: London planned for the Barbican Centre, London in July 2009.

WRAP-AROUND
