REVIEW EXTRACTS
'Miriam Buether’s sets wonderfully lit by Chahine Yavroyan, are startling and stultifying by turn – there are images here that will live long in the mind – as will Neilson’s inventively illustrated contention that it’s a mad mad world.' The Metro

'Brilliant, quietly-unsettling impressionistic, exploration of sanity, madness and the family, produced by EIF with Glasgow’s Tron Theatre.' The Herald

'In what has been an unusually strong year for drama at the Edinburgh International Festival, the play… stands comparison with the very best.' The Times

CURRENT PRODUCTION
Antigone By Sophocles in a version by David Levin. The third of Sophocles' great Theban tragedies, Antigone is a riveting exploration of emotion and reason, defiance and weakness and human compassion in the face of blind absolutism. Directed by David Levin, former Artistic Director of the Habima National Theatre in Tel Aviv and now living in Edinburgh, this electrifying production maintains the savage poetry of the ancient Greek text and echoes contemporary world events. (80 mins, 13 on stage, 16 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
