REVIEW EXTRACTS ‘The Tricycle is the nearest London has to a theatre which makes people change their minds.’ The Observer
‘There is no theatre in Britain that has told us more about the way we live now than the Tricycle’ The Daily Telegraph
‘For at least the last 8 years the Tricycle has been our most impressively political theatre. Tricycle productions have also done more than most playwrights to extend the stylistic frontiers of drama. Just in terms of theatre aesthetics, the Tricycle is often enough the most remarkable theatre in town’ Financial Times
CURRENT PRODUCTION Let There Be Love A new play by Kwame Kwei-Armah: an elderly West Indian immigrant dying of cancer in London and his relationship with his Polish carer. Very funny, poignant and using the music of Nat King Cole – dealing with issues of cultural diversity and euthanasia. (125 mins, 3 on stage, 6 on the road.)
WRAP-AROUND Post-show discussions, workshops on acting, cultural diversity and new writing.
