ARTISTIC POLICY
Richard Alston’s company presents skilled dancers in lyrical and speedy movement – steps flowing in complex and close dialogue with exhilarating music. This is dance that gives straightforward pleasure, using a broad range of musical inspiration, both classical and contemporary, to create a constant interplay between musical impulse and choreographic invention. Live music is an important element of the performance whenever possible.
