ARTISTIC POLICY
Matilda Leyser uses a combination of dramatic and circus techniques to create powerful contemporary performance imbued with warmth, wit and personality. Her pieces are inspired by the poetic potential within aerial performance, demonstrating its ability to physically manifest many of the metaphors through which we describe human experience. The performer is perceived as human and vulnerable, rather than as a super-human performing circus “tricks”.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Her performance is a revelation… performed with subtlety and clarity… immaculately conceived and timed to perfection.’ The Times (Lifeline)

‘Combining subtle theatricality, emotive expression and super skilled aerial tricks, a beautiful and touching piece - lively, mesmeric and sensitively portrayed.’ The Stage (Lifeline)
