Lost Dog tells physical stories and creates work that is relevant, accessible, entertaining and challenging. The company explores the limits of live performance, communicating in a low-tech style; body to body, face to face. Its work aims to find the truly universal in the deeply personal.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘A very bright new voice in dance theatre.’ Time Out

‘The most promising talents to emerge on the British Dance scene over the late year.’ Keith Watson, Dance Now (The Drowner)

‘Simultaneously raw and slick, Lost Dog have created a work that hits the mark on every level’ The Stage (The Drowner)

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Hungry Ghosts Inspired by the events of the Moscow theatre siege, the piece explores the lives of those unlucky ones who decided to go to the theatre the night it was hijacked. (60 mins, no interval, 6 on stage, 7 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
Lost Dog’s workshops draw on the company’s approach to devising physical theatre and involve a combination of the improvisation, movement research & creation, creative writing and physical theatre exercises it uses when making work. Workshops are designed to accommodate and inspire a range of participants (aged 15+), from those with little or no dance experience through to practicing artists. The company also delivers specific skills-based sessions, such as professional technique or contact improvisation classes. A post-performance discussion with Hungry Ghosts is also available.
