ARTISTIC POLICY
To produce inventive, dark but accessible animated theatre for streets, stage and screen with complementary educational activity.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘A work of art to be cherished… there are some moments of real genius. The macabre puppets look wonderfully nightmarish.’ Metro (Rust)

‘Psychologically astute, caustically comic.’ New York Times (Slaphead)

‘Visually, Green Ginger offer another stellar performance. The performers take puppeteering to a whole new level.’ BBC.co.uk

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Rust A story of two pirate radio stations anchored in the same murky waters. Grotesque puppets, animated sets and absurd humor are welded together in a dark vision of low-life on high seas. (70 mins, no interval, 3 on stage, 4 on the road.)

Gaston – (Street Show) A simple and elegant act in which members of the public are invited to sit whilst an Old Master recreates their likenesses in his inimitable fashion. (20 mins, no interval, 2 on the road.)

Prats – (Street Show) Three insecurity guards patrol the crowds with big enthusiasm and little common sense. Working diligently as a highly mobile unit, the Prats animate the streets with absurd and surprising interactions. (30 mins, no interval, 3 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
Post performance discussions; masterclasses in puppet construction and manipulation; one to seven day workshops with children and adults, using recorded voices and puppet manipulation.
