ARTISTIC POLICY CandoCo Dance Company is the UK’s leading contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Since its inception in 1991, CandoCo has introduced a new dance language that both surprises and inspires. The company broadens the perception of what dance is and who can dance by producing creatively ambitious, high quality and challenging dance performance.

WRAP-AROUND CandoCo Dance Company’s education and project work celebrates the individual and their creative potential. Through the delivery of innovative and exceptional practice, the company seeks to nurture the development of dancers and choreographers of all ages, experiences and abilities. The company creates bespoke education offers to meet the needs of its partners through close consultation, identifying clear aims and outcomes for each piece of work. It has extensive experience delivering a range of projects, workshops and artist development activities including: repertory based masterclasses, choreographic residencies, lecture-demonstrations and post performance discussions. The company also offers Continuous Professional Development sessions of varying durations for practitioners, teachers and lecturers as well as contextual presentations and debates about the sector.
