ARTISTIC POLICY
Bock & Vincenzi explore the relationship between the language of movement and the mystery of the image. Memory, communication, time, the divided self, consciousness, death and disappearance are recurring themes that develop uncanny, evocative and intensely visceral stage worlds. They draw together collaborators from a broad range of disciplines: dancers, actors, performance artists, composers, magicians and film-makers, developing the work with the idiosyncrasies and strengths of those involved.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘As the piece ends in a roaring darkness, it’s as if we finally join (the performers). And you’d be amazed at just what a blast that is.’ Luke Jennings, The Observer

‘The joy of the piece was in its repetition… the opportunity to observe so closely the minuatiae of each movement sequence induced a wonderful hypnotic quality.’ John Daniel, Total Theatre

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Here, As If They Hadn’t Been, As If They Are Not An exploration of our relationship to absence, to the memory of the body and our perception of time and space, an epilogue that presents no end. (90 mins, 13 on stage, 20 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
The Infinite Pleasures of the Great Unknown Takes as its starting point two fictional characters – the filmic creation of Dr Mabuse and the theatrical character of King Lear – presenting a battle between image and text. (8 performers and 13 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
