Walker Park is the contemporary dance and music company created by choreographer Fin Walker and composer Ben Park. Walker Park makes dance and music that aims to fuse the energy of both disciplines, creating a tightly woven and intricate union between the two artforms.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
The Changing Game
New production for 2009. At its heart is the partnership of Fin Walker’s choreography and Ben Park’s music with a new vocal score, sung live by the Walker Park choir.
No strong language, violence, sexually explicit content or nudity.
Approx. 70 minutes, no interval. 7 Dancers, 5 singers, 1 percussionist on stage plus possibility of local choir involvement. 2 technical crew, 2 artistic directors (choreographer & composer/musical director). 17 in total on the road.

WRAP-AROUND
Choir project
For The Changing Game, Walker Park is delivering a community choir project, whereby local participants will work with the WP singers and composer, Ben Park, to learn the vocal score for the production and will perform with the company on stage as an integral part of the show.
The company also offers a comprehensive range of dance and music workshops tailored to all age groups; lecture demonstrations aimed at performing arts students; choreographic and performance residencies aimed at dance students and/or professional dance artists; masterclasses for choreographers and composers to increase skills in working together; pre- and post-performance talks by the artistic team; seminars around producing and touring dance work led by WP Producer, Dawn Prentice.
