ARTISTIC POLICY Since its origin in 1983, the National Dance Company Wales (formerly known as Diversions), has developed into an award-winning company. The Company presents work from established international choreographers in a versatile and exciting repertoire of contemporary dance. From its prestigious home at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, the Company creates inventive, inspiring, and elegant dance, putting quality and creativity at the top of the agenda.

WRAP-AROUND Participation The dancers from the company teach an extensive range of classes and workshops when on tour. These can be masterclasses with professional dancers, classes with dance students or workshops for complete beginners. Every session is tailored to the needs of the participants and linked to the company’s performance. Pre or Post-Performance Discussions The artistic director will deliver pre or post-performance discussions as requested by the venue. Lecture Demonstrations The Company delivers an interactive matinee performance which is informative and fun, and suitable for all aged 9 upwards.
